Join this exciting new project with the Birchip Historical Society.

 

The Birchip History Museum, the home of the Birchip Historical Society, is the oldest public building in Birchip.  Attached to the Museum is an Archives Storage which is an authorized place of deposit for the Public Records Office.    The Museum and Archives Storage house many unique and significant historical records and artifacts of Birchip and District which are available for research and viewing.

 

The aim of the project is to sort, catalogue and index artifacts, documents and photos at the Museum.

 

The project is of 6 months duration starting 1 April 2007.
